The 2006 Hyundai Tucson is a considered a compact sports utility vehicle. It comes in a six cylinder and a four cylinder engine with both front wheel drive and rear wheel drive. There are three trim lines available, Limited, GL, and GLS.
The GL model comes with a two litre four cylinder engine that gives 140 horse power and has both a five-speed manual transmission which is standard, and a four-speed automatic transmission as an option. You can also get a front wheel drive or the optional four wheel drive. The GL also comes standard with cruise control, power door locks and keyless entry.
The 2006 Hyundai Tucson GLS model has more horsepower than the GL at 173 and a bigger engine with a two litre V6. It also has a trip counter, a steering wheel that is leather wrapped, amongst other great features.
The Limited model is the more luxurious of the models and comes with leather seating, climate control and a six CD changer. A four wheel drive version is available.
